The accommodation
Group accommodation 'de Huiskamer' borders directly to a playing field and is rented out with 4 comfortable holiday homes (2x 6-pers. and 2x 8-pers.). The group accommodation has its own professional kitchen, a really epic bar, a dining area with large regular tables and a corner with comfortable seats. This group accommodation has a industrial design. The large glass doors provides access to the spacious terrace with large oak trees and a lawn. The 4 comfortable homes offer sleeping space for a total of 28 people. The 2 six-person houses have two bedrooms upstairs and a room downstairs. The 2 eight-person houses have an extra bedroom for 2 people. All comfortable homes are equipped with 2 bathrooms, central heating, a kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, a flat screen TV, DVD player and radio with CD player. The comfortable homes are located around a cozy village square and near a fish pond.

The holiday park
The accommodations are located in the yard of a former farm. The sports fields (volleyball field, football field and tennis court) are free to use by everyone. There are also various exciting playground equipment for small children. The go-karts and the canoes are especially popular. There is also a covered area with various play equipment in the yard.

We also offer some extra service like, beer tap rental, catering, barbecue rental and outdoor activities.

Area
The small-scale holiday park is located on the border of Overijssel, Flevoland and Friesland. The park is located on the edge of the 1100-hectare Kuinderbos, where you can go for a walk, go cycling and go horse riding on the riding trails. The location of the holiday park offers enough opportunities to make various tourist trips. A visit to one of the old Zuiderzee villages such as Lemmer, Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Urk is definitely worth it. The Frisian lakes and forests of Gaasterland are also within half an hour's drive from the park.

In the north of Overijssel are the wetlands, called the Weerribben (national nature park) and the Wieden. Slightly above that is the Rottige Meenthe. These areas together form a large low peat bog that was created in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries as a result of peat extraction. The area is largely open to the public. You can go there to canoe, cycle or walk. A visit to the visitor center in Sint Jansklooster or in Ossenzijl is also definitely worth it. The town of Giethoorn also deserves extra attention. Giethoorn, with many canals, bridges and lakes, is called the Venice of the North.
